Here at West Russell Animal Hospital, we honor and value what our clients have to say and truly take it to heart. We want you to know that we’ve heard you and that we are making some changes to show you how important your voice is to us.
We know you’ve been patient with us during these difficult times and we want to extend our gratitude to you by doing everything we can to reduce your wait time.
Our staff understands that life happens and sometimes it’s difficult to book an appointment ahead of time and we are here to help! However, in order for us to help your pets as quickly as possible along with clients who have existing appointments, we will be changing our Walk In policy to be much more time effective.
Starting Monday 5/17/21, we are asking our clients who are requesting a same day appointment to drop their pet(s) off for the day for evaluation. This allows our doctors to examine your pet in a timely fashion while still being able to see those clients on the schedule as efficiently as possible (while also allowing us to get some extra snuggles in!). In allowing us to take care of your pet for the day, it will not only give the doctor an appropriate amount of time to assess your pet’s condition, it will also mean that you no longer have to wait in an exam room for a lengthy amount of time due to other appointments being ahead of you.
Lastly, we have done our best to serve our community with all of our time, services and passion for animals and while we wish we could do that without some changes to our prices, that is not always the case. In our efforts to continue providing low cost services such as vaccines and spays/neuters, we will be raising the Walk In fee to $90.00. We hope that you know that we don’t do this lightly and thank you for your understanding in the reasoning for this increase.
We want to thank you for the continued trust that you’ve put into West Russell Animal Hospital and know that this is the best step that we can take in addressing the feedback we’ve received regarding the extended wait times due to the COVID pandemic.
