“I basically have a petting zoo at home. I have followed Dr. Benson for the past 10 years to take care of my kids (3 Great Danes). She is the absolute best! Compassionate and 100% thorough. We have cats too and the wife will only take them to her. GREAT hospital and Staff. All Doctors here are top-notch! I drive a good distance from Henderson, and I never regret it.”

“Everyone here is friendly and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable, too. If you come in for shots they don’t charge for the office visit, just for the shots. I trust them completely with my pup!”
“Omg I just love this place they are so nice and very friendly.. when I leave out of town I always bought my dog here because she get all her shots from here and I feel like they look out for her and she’s safe.. This place is so clean and nice in the inside I like how they have a cat side you go in a different door and a dog side you go in a different door that is so cool.. they are very reasonable when it comes to their vaccine shots”

“Took Splash in for his shots, another 5 star experience. He seemed to remember the building & was being a little cranky. He growled at the vet techs while they checked his teeth and ears, but they stayed patient and sweet. They gave some advice I needed/asked for and I walked out only paying $36.”

2 times worth mentioning.
When my German Shepherd was a puppy and went in for limping. They did and X-ray to check and see if anything was wrong. When he came back up front they had also clipped his nails for us without us asking. Very very sweet.
Second time same pup went in to get neutered. I was extremely nervous and about dropping him off but they reassured me he’d be fine and the procedure would be quick. When I went in to pick him up the vet took her time with me and really explained everything in great detail that I needed to watch for and how to give his medicine etc.
I’m so grateful for this office and I wouldn’t trust taking my animals anywhere else.
Also good to mention, it’s always clean. They are constantly sweeping and mopping the floors after dogs shed or even just walk on certain areas. It’s amazing.”
“We love this vet office! I have large dogs… (210 pound English mastiff) I moved out here from Colorado and was so afraid to find a vet that understood large animals and they were fantastic. My partners have senior dogs & they went to west Russell for a second opinion and now this is their vet for life as well. If you are looking for a staff from the front of the office to care for your fuzzy animals this is the place to go. We have been so impressed with them. They give great solutions and are not pushy on their services. We also recently had a tour for their office and their kennels are very large and warm for the pets. They are always looking out for the best interest for their pet.”

“Let me start off by saying I absolutely love West Russell Animal hospital!! The staff are so so nice and helpful.
My fur baby has been hospitalized for 5 nights and 6 days (I won’t go into detail on his issues as it was lengthy just glad he is better) and of course I went to visit and walk him each day over the weekend and on my lunch hour. So I felt like a pain to be there each day but the staff greeted me each time with a smile and when I left they always wished me a good day.
Dr. Benson, Dr. Kaku and their veterinary nurses (Leah, Emma, Sabrina and Steven) are very informative, as I had so many questions!! You know how pet owners can be!! (pain in butt & protective pet owners) lol. I can’t thank them enough for all they did. So they are the reason I get to bring him home today”

Rushed in there yest. with no appt. with a dying 4wk. old foster kitten- I was in panic-mode…I wasn’t even a client there- Front desk staff was wonderful..took him in the back immediately-Young, kind Vet kept me updated step by step what he was doing & the cost- They did tests for FIV/& feline aids…gave fluids-B-12-kept him overnight-Pretty much brought him back from the dead for UNDER $300! So much cheaper than I ever imagined! Thank you”
“Dr.Gouldburn always takes the best care of my puppy Jax! The whole staff is so friendly. I trust them completely with the care of my frenchie(who seems to always be sick/ get into things). I drive 25 minutes for his appointments but it’s worth it with the quality of care they provide!”
“I have recently started going here since my vet moved there. It is conveniently located off the 215 freeway. Dr Benson has always treated my dogs with love and compassion. She has always communicated well with my wife and myself and provided a diagnosis and a plan that makes the most sense with regards to my four legged ones. The front staff is always friendly to my dogs and attentive to paperwork, billing and all things non medical. The vet techs have always been compassionate and caring towards my dogs as well.”
